About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Bristol Community College, a public agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, seeking pricing for (4) Wet Down-Draught Dust Collector Systems for its National Offshore Wind Institute (NOWI) Blade Repair program. The RFP provides a tentative schedule of events with a proposal due date of December 5, 2022 and a contract award date of December 19, 2022. It specifies the required technical specifications for the dust collector systems, including system capacities, controls, construction materials, and filtration requirements. The RFP also outlines the general terms and conditions, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria, stating that the award will be based on "best value" and not necessarily the lowest price.
The RFP indicates that Bristol Community College is exempt from federal and state taxes, and that the college reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals. It notes that the winning bidder will be required to sign a Commonwealth of Massachusetts standard contract. The RFP also addresses confidentiality, preparation costs, and the college's affirmative action and non-discrimination policies.
