About this file

This Addendum No. 1 addresses questions submitted by bidders regarding a Football Concession Vendor Services RFP issued by Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (PCCS) in Michigan. The district is seeking a concession vendor to provide food and beverage services at football games across multiple school locations. The RFP indicates home games for each school are included in the scope, with special events designated by the Assistant Principals of Athletics and Activities. The addendum clarifies operational details such as propane use being permitted in the absence of gas hook-ups, adequate electrical capacity being available for equipment, and food truck selection procedures for special events.

The incumbent vendor, Kevin's Catering, generated gross sales of approximately $25,000 for fall 2024 and $29,000 for fall 2025. The district is seeking a new vendor due to complaints regarding food quality and menu offerings from the previous provider. Key constraints include an existing contract with Pepsi that must be maintained by the new vendor, with no requirement for relationships with other specific sponsors. Concession services are currently limited to football games, with expansion to other sports not available at this time. The district has indicated ample electrical capacity exists for additional equipment, and propane usage is permitted for vendors lacking access to gas hook-ups at the facilities.

2. Question: Is there ample electricity or the ability to add power, for additional equipment?

Response: We believe there is ample electrical capacity for additional equipment.
