About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of high temporal resolution time taggers. The RFP is issued by the Fermi Research Alliance (FRA) on behalf of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, a Department of Energy facility.
The RFP seeks firm fixed price quotations for the following items: Time Tagger X - System & Software and Time Tagger X - Additional Input Channel Over-the-air device upgrade. The time taggers must meet specific technical requirements, including 2 ps timing resolution, 4 input channels (up to 18), 1.5 ns dead time, and data transfer rates up to 1200M tags/s. The RFP includes a detailed description of the device specifications and key features.
The RFP closing date is December 12, 2024, and FRA intends to award the contract without discussions. This is a Low Price Technically Acceptable source selection, and the award will be made to the responsible supplier whose proposal is technically acceptable and offers the lowest evaluated price. All questions and clarifications must be submitted by the closing date. The resulting contract will be subject to FRA's standard commercial terms and conditions.
