About this file
This is an Addendum #1 to Request for Proposals #2025-34 issued by Clackamas County, Oregon for the Stanley Avenue Improvement Project, dated April 28, 2025. The addendum amends the original RFP by expanding the scope of work under Task 4.0 Preliminary Engineering to include two primary additions: pedestrian bridge design and existing Johnson Creek Bridge evaluation. The pedestrian bridge design work requires coordination with the Agency and City to determine bridge geometrics, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections meeting AASHTO and City standards; evaluation of appropriate pedestrian bridge structure types, sizes, and locations; provision of up to two alternative pedestrian bridge designs with preliminary cross-sections and profiles; submission of draft preliminary (30%) pedestrian bridge plans at a horizontal scale of 1" = 20' incorporating information from topographic surveys, stormwater reports, and geotechnical reports; and inclusion of pedestrian bridge draft and final plans and reports in the Design Acceptance Package along with a TS&L memo for the pedestrian bridge. The Johnson Creek Bridge evaluation requires assessment of potential safety enhancements including modification or replacement of bridge railings and evaluation of potential modifications to remove weight restrictions from the bridge, with any additional identified engineering work to be addressed during the design process.
The addendum does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, or other financial details, as it functions solely as a clarification and expansion of the original RFP's scope of work. All other terms and conditions of the original RFP remain unchanged pursuant to this addendum.
