About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFP #20-PRF15 issued by the City of Sun Prairie Department of Parks, Recreation & Forestry in Wisconsin for ash tree treatments. The project requires qualified vendors to provide trunk injection treatments of ash trees using Emamectin Benzoate, with all associated labor, supervision, equipment, services, and expertise. The RFP solicited proposals with a deadline of May 1, 2020.
The document addresses a key technical question regarding injection methodology. The City confirmed its willingness to accept plugless injection systems from vendors as an alternative to traditional plug-based systems, provided that vendors administer the appropriate quantity of chemical to each treated tree. This flexibility in treatment application methods allows qualified contractors to propose solutions using different injection technologies while maintaining the required chemical dosage standards for effective ash tree treatment.
