Summary

This is a Scope of Services document for the City of Fort Worth Water Department's Request for Proposals (RFP) for chemical tanks to be provided on an as-needed basis. The scope of work outlines the contractor's responsibilities to supply, deliver, and manage various chemicals required for water treatment operations. The document specifies performance standards, quality requirements, and operational protocols that the selected vendor must meet. The contractor will be required to maintain adequate inventory levels, ensure timely delivery of chemicals, provide technical support, and comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. The agreement will establish pricing mechanisms and terms for the on-call provision of chemical services, with the City retaining the right to adjust volumes based on operational needs.

The document establishes the contractor's obligations regarding product quality, certifications, and documentation requirements necessary for water treatment chemical procurement. The vendor must demonstrate compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to potable water systems. The scope addresses delivery schedules, storage considerations, and the contractor's responsibility for managing chemical handling safety. Payment terms and pricing structures are contingent upon the negotiated agreement following the RFP evaluation process, with the City anticipating an indefinite delivery arrangement to support ongoing water department operations.
