About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks industry input for a Tactical Contamination Mitigation System (TCMS) applicator to support Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) protection operations. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a portable decontamination system that can quickly reduce and limit the spread of chemical and biological contamination, enabling warfighters to continue missions in hazardous environments.
The TCMS applicator must meet specific technical requirements, including being person-portable (under 51 lbs), capable of applying decontaminant evenly on surfaces, operating in temperatures from 32°F to 130°F, and functioning for at least four hours on current battery power sources. Vendors are requested to submit detailed responses by June 24, 2025, including company information, product descriptions, technology readiness levels, estimated unit costs, production capabilities, and system specifications. Responses should be electronically submitted to specified Army point of contact emails, with a 10-page limit on submissions. This is a market research tool, and responses are not considered offers or guarantees of future contract award.
