STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
RADIO-FREQUENCY IDENTIFICAITON (RFID) SYSTEM INTEGRATION
RAPID INTEGRATION AND ACCEPTANCE CENTER (RIAC) MISSION: To enhance the Warfighter capabilities through the use of proven program and test management processes, System-of-Systems innovations, and a custom-tailored support network which allows for rapid support for testing, training, development, integration, interoperability validation, and new technology development of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
SCOPE: Implement an inventory tracking system that employs RFID technology to expedite the verification, reporting, and management of RIAC assets located at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), Utah. Solution should include the latest advances in RFID technology combined with logistics functionality and ability to add more functionality in the future.
REQUIREMENTS:
· HARDWARE: A handheld kit with printer including sufficient labels will be provided.
· RFID Handheld Scanner(s) – The kit will include RFID handheld scanner(s) with the ability for user to scan from 15 feet nominally. The scanner(s) will allow the user to find specific product asset tags and will lead the user to within one foot of the product asset tag in question with both audible and visual cues. The volumes are user-defined. It will also provide a means of uploading data to the customer software with pertinent information about RFID tags.
· RFID Printer(s) – A RFID Printer(s) will be supplied and capable of printing the product asset tag in human-readable format as well as barcode information. Simultaneously the RFID circuit will be programmed with a unique data string. While the label will be like the current RIAC label used in size and color, it will hold all the current printed information and have the information encoded into the RFID inlay at the time of printing.
· Transitional Portals – Transitional portals will be supplied which utilize RFID technology to monitor and report RFID material moving through controlled process points such as dock doors for facility transition points. The transitional portals will assist in tracking material flow through specific points of concern within a facility and generate data transfer reports, such as manifest of incoming or outgoing material.
· SOFTWARE: Applicable system software will be supplied that will integrate all hardware. Software will include a scheduling tool allowing ability for a user to reserve items using a calendar dashboard.
· INTEGRATION: Full integration of entire system including hardware and software at RIAC’s DPG location will be included.
· TRAINING: Onsite training of appropriate RIAC employees at DPG location will be included.
· TRAVEL: Travel to RIAC’s DPG location for entire system integration, applying property with RFID tags, and RIAC employee training will be included.
· DELIVERABLES:
· RFID Handheld Scanner(s)
· RFID Printer(s) with sufficient labels
· Transitional Portals
· Software
· WARRANTY: Standard and extended warranties for all hardware will be clearly stated and made available.
