The RFI outlines the salient characteristics and specifications for the required forklift, including a rated load capacity between 15,000-20,000 lbs, diesel power of at least 108 HP, and various dimensional and safety requirements. The RFI requests feedback from vendors on their ability to provide a quote for the forklift, whether the specifications are too vague or restrictive, if the specifications limit competition, and any additional information that would be helpful. Responses to the RFI are due by November 5, 2024. The resulting procurement will be a single firm-fixed price purchase order, set aside for small businesses with an active SAM registration. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 333924 with a size standard of 900 employees.
