About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Iowa National Guard for three InBody 770 Body Composition Scanners. The RFI seeks comments and feedback from potential contractors on their ability to provide a quote for the required scanners, the time needed to prepare a quote, and any additional information that would be helpful.
The RFI outlines the salient characteristics the scanners must meet, including specifications for the number of impedance measurements, frequencies used, body composition parameters provided, testing ranges for weight, age, and height, and required features such as an LCD monitor and professional/self-test modes. The package must also include a printer with specific make and model requirements. A justification for limiting competition to a "brand name" product will be provided with the subsequent Request for Quote. Responses to the RFI are due by July 29, 2024, at 11:00 am Eastern. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order and anticipates a single award, although reserves the right to make multiple awards.
