About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 regarding ultra-rugged micro scanners. The RFI seeks information from potential vendors regarding the availability, capabilities, and technical specifications of micro scanning devices suitable for rugged operational environments within VA healthcare settings. Respondents are requested to provide detailed product information, including durability ratings, scanning performance specifications, compatibility with existing VA systems, pricing models, delivery timelines, and any applicable certifications or compliance standards. The RFI is intended to gather market intelligence to inform a subsequent formal solicitation and assess vendor capability prior to full procurement.

This pre-solicitation vehicle allows the VA to evaluate potential sources and market availability before releasing a formal Request for Proposals. Interested vendors should carefully review the attached detailed requirements and respond with comprehensive information about their ultra-rugged micro scanner solutions, including technical specifications, performance data, and proposed terms. The information gathered through this RFI will directly inform the development of the formal solicitation specifications and evaluation criteria for this procurement requirement.
