About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Uncrewed Systems Operations Center (UxSOC). The RFI seeks market research on Uncrewed Maritime Systems (UMS) vehicles, focusing on standard pricing for deployment and data collection, including transit time charges, mobilization/demobilization costs, current industry vehicles, and sensor integration capabilities. The anticipated NAICS code is 541900 with a $19.5 million size standard, and the government encourages responses from small businesses, particularly those with socio-economic certifications like 8(a), HUBZone, or service-disabled veteran-owned status.
Responses must be submitted via email by January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, limited to 10 single-sided pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format. The RFI is purely for market research purposes and does not guarantee a future solicitation or contract award. Respondents should provide a cover letter with company details, point of contact information, unique entity identifier, NAICS codes, socio-economic status, and any existing government contract vehicles. The ultimate goal is to develop a future Request for Proposal that aligns with industry standards for UMS support services, with responses potentially used in developing future solicitation documents.
