About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, seeking market research on Spider Lift equipment for potential small business procurement. The RFI targets small business contractors with expertise in selling Spider Lift industrial aerial platform equipment, specifically seeking vendors capable of providing a CMC 75 I or equivalent model with 75' working height, dielectrically rated at 46KV, and featuring a fiberglass bucket. The NAICS code for this effort is 333923 (Overhead Travelling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing).
Interested small businesses are requested to respond by 1:00 PM on May 1, 2025, via email to A1C Shkrebtiy, addressing two key questions: (1) can their company provide equipment meeting the specified characteristics, and (2) do they have suggestions or questions about the specifications. The RFI emphasizes that this is purely for market research and information gathering, with the potential to form a small business set-aside formal Request for Quote (RFQ) in the near future. All responding vendors are advised that the government will not compensate for any information or administrative costs associated with the RFI response.
