About this file
This document contains responses to requests for information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for perimeter fencing work at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Michigan. The RFI responses clarify that the perimeter fencing must meet a minimum K4 crash rating standard as defined in UFC 4-020-02. For a decorative gate requirement, the contractor is to follow the specifications in section 323119.53 of the contract documents rather than differing details shown on a drawing. As most of the new fencing will be inside the existing perimeter, the contractor is not required to provide a badged gate guard for all fence work areas. The related federal contract opportunity is issued by the Department of the Army National Guard for project Dickman Rd. Perimeter Fence W50S84-20-B-0001.
