About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is for repairing avionics components used on the TH-1H Helicopter, a refurbished Bell UH-1H training aircraft. The government seeks potential repair sources for nine specific commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components from manufacturers Chelton Avionics, Northern Airborne Technology (NAT), and Cobham Aerospace Communications. The components include radio frequency tuners, radio sets, transceivers, receivers, control units, audio controllers, and an alarm monitor, all designated with a Repair Method Code of "3/Z" indicating they are to be repaired directly from the original manufacturer.
The market survey aims to establish a five-year contract spanning FY26-FY31, with repair quantities based on historical data. Interested contractors must demonstrate capability to repair these avionics components, possess proprietary technical data access, and potentially handle classified information. Responses are due by close of business on 20 October 2025, with questions directed to Procuring Contracting Officer Leigh Ann Taylor and Contracting Officer Shawna Barrett. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, with joint ventures and teaming arrangements welcome. The government emphasizes that participation in this survey does not guarantee future contract awards.
