About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire for a NextGen IDIQ recompete seeking information from manufacturers of HUD-compliant Manufactured Housing Units (MHUs). The RFI, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), contains 13 questions focused on gathering details about potential contractors' manufacturing capabilities, experience, and compliance with federal standards.
The questions cover key areas including: manufacturing experience with HUD-compliant MHUs, production capacity and facility locations (both CONUS and OCONUS), supply chain details, compliance with specific federal standards (24 CFR 3280, 24 CFR 3282, UFAS, NFPA 13D), experience working with HUD and inspection agencies, GSA schedule contract status, small business designations, and sourcing of materials. The questionnaire specifically seeks information about manufacturers' ability to meet requirements including Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards, Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards, and sprinkler system installation standards. The RFI is part of market research and does not commit the government to any contract award.
