REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Contracts Department

Requirement Description The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI) from all potential sources to provide information regarding a commercial, modified commercial, or non-commercial product/service solution(s) to the below specifications:

Speaking Engagement Support NAICS Code: 711410

Background, Scope, and Capability Requirements:

The Navy Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) is the only PEO charged with the specific mission to develop, deliver, and sustain operationally dominant Combat Systems. As the world's premier maritime Combat Systems engineering and acquisition organization, PEO IWS is responsible for programs across 11 program offices. Under RDML leadership, the PEO is on a mission to impact positive culture change by inspiring empathy, diversity, inclusion, and learning. The PEO IWS workforce consists of dedicated civilian, military, and contractor staff. PEO IWS established a World Class Wednesday program structured around the following four (4) focus areas: 1) People and Culture:

We win with both, 2) Affordability: It is imperative that you are relentless and creative in driving cost from our systems and operations, 3) Delivering and Sustaining Lethal Capability: What we deliver will maintain peace or deliver a lethal blow when required, and 4) Agility: We no longer have the luxury of waiting, we must be able to outmaneuver and outpace our adversary. This program consists of a 60 to 90 minute speaker engagement from experts and/or authors aligned to these topics including an interactive Question and Answer session. Presentations are conducted on a monthly basis and are virtual using the Navy’s Microsoft TEAMS to facilitate. Speakers can expect two (2) planning sessions in advance of each engagement including an initial discussion on the topic and learning objectives followed by a dry run to review content and logistics for the event.

Respondents to this request should address the following questions:

1. Are you an individual speaker or a company that can book speaking engagements?

2. Which topic(s) associated with the 4 focus areas are you able to address?

3. Please provide a brief summary of topics and customers you’ve supported in the past through speaking engagements.
