About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base. The RFI is seeking potential sources to upgrade one MC-130J Radar Transmitter Processor (RTP) to the WC-130J RTP configuration using the APN-241 radar system provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The contractor must have the ability to install the radar, assist with troubleshooting, and ensure the radar can detect real-time rain rates. The proposed work must be completed during Fiscal Year 2025. The government has determined this is a sole source requirement to Northrop Grumman Corporation. Responses to the capability survey questionnaire are due by December 1, 2024. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, including through teaming arrangements.
