About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Mott Community College's Purchasing Department for lecterns, with the solicitation ID RFI-KD-0525-LECTERN. The college is seeking information and options for two new lecterns, with specific requirements including casters for easy transportation on carpet or tile, electronic lift for height adjustment, capability to hold various microphone types, wood grain finish, and space for a college logo. The RFI was issued on Friday, May 2, 2025, with responses due by Monday, May 12, 2025. Submissions must be made through the BidNetDirect platform, and the college is open to both pre-built and custom-built lecterns with at least a 1-year warranty. The college has referenced two potential options from PodiumPros and PodiumsTop websites and is looking for a rough cost approximation.

The RFI indicates standard payment terms of Net 30 and notes that Mott Community College is tax-exempt. The college is part of multiple consortium agreements including Omnia Partners, REMC, HPS, MiDeal, E&I, Sourcewell, and more, and encourages vendors to indicate any consortia contract pricing. Vendors are required to provide lead time from purchase order receipt, stock availability, and comprehensive warranty information. The document emphasizes the college's commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity, with detailed contact information for various coordinators. Importantly, this is a request for information only, with no guarantee of purchase, and the college reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.
