About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) through the General Services Administration (GSA) to conduct market research for procuring various Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) for delivery to multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. The specific equipment includes band cutoff saws, press brakes, welding machines, waterjet sheet metal working equipment, heat treat furnaces, and heat treat ovens, with quantities ranging from 1 to 52 units across different models and specifications.
The RFI seeks to understand vendor capabilities, interest, and potential challenges in supplying these industrial equipment items. Vendors are requested to submit a five-page response by the RFI close date, providing company information, GSA contract details, capabilities description, previous experience, and potential teaming arrangements. The document encourages contractors to form Contracting Team Arrangements and respond to 12 specific questions about their production capacity, contract preferences, and potential risks. The primary point of contact is Daniel Herrera, Contracting Officer, who can be reached at daniel.herrera@gsa.gov or (817) 850-8256. The government is contemplating using NAICS codes 333517 and 333994 for this potential acquisition.
