A regular work schedule is defined as five (5) 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, during the core business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST/EDT.

Work schedules are determined by task requirements and are performance driven. The Contractor may be required to modify their work schedule to meet specific Task Order requirements.

07/17/2025

10.2 Alternate Work Schedule

If task requirements allow for flexibility in schedules, the Contractor may request COR approval for use of an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS). If approved, the Contractor must coordinate coverage with the COR/ACOR to ensure required coverage for each workday and task order requirements are achieved.

An AWS is defined as follows: 1) 5/4/9 (eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day and 1 regular day off). The Contractor must follow the AWS as approved by the COR. No deviation of the schedule will be permitted unless necessitated by work requirements and coordinated in advance with the COR/ACOR. At no time can more than 50% of the people on a Task Order have the same day off unless it is requirements driven.

The Contractor must revert to a regular work schedule for travel, training, when required by task order requirements or when required by the COR/ACOR.

If an AWS is requested, the Contractor must provide the COR/ACOR with a request no less than one pay period prior to the subject change. The request must include the following:

a. Name of the contractor requesting an AWS

d. Requested work hours and regular days off

AWS options under this Contract may be revoked if schedules are abused or impose an adverse impact on the task/project as determined by the COR/ACOR. Termination of an AWS is solely at the discretion of the COR/ACOR and/or Contracting Officer.

If support of a task requirement will require support beyond a 40 hour work-week, this schedule must be pre-approved in advance by the COR/ACOR. Reimbursement for this situation is at the negotiated labor rate. No overtime will be reimbursed.

11.0 Telework

Telework may be authorized to support this IDIQ Contract on a case-by-case basis, with the approval of the COR. Should telework be authorized the Contractor’s on-site fully burdened labor rate will be used for the labor category/skill level required.

Telework authorization does not negate the requirement that Contractor personnel are expected to be available for in-person meetings/on-site support, as required by the COR. Telework authorizations may be revised and/or rescinded at any time at the discretion of the COR and/or Contracting Officer (CO), based on mission requirements.
