About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) for engineering support to optimize Building B210. The RFI was posted on 17 MAR 2026 with responses due by 16 APR 2026. This is a planning and information-gathering document only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract. The Government will not compensate respondents for information submitted, and no determination of viability has been made at this time.

The primary objective is to identify potential contractors capable of providing engineering services to update documentation, optimize space allocation, and standardize operational processes in Building B210, which houses WR-ALC, Air Force Sustainment Center/Software (AFSC/SW), and 402 Software Engineering Group (SWEG). Key deliverables include: an updated AutoCAD model of the current layout; a space optimization proposal complying with Air Force space allocation standards (AFMAN 32-1084) with co-located staff by organization; a furniture layout plan including break rooms, printer stations, print shops, conference rooms, and lobby areas; a swing space plan for future renovations; a standardized conference room naming and reservation system; and standardized directory markings throughout the building. The anticipated contract will be firm-fixed price. Respondents must provide company information including DUNS number and CAGE code, describe relevant experience with layout drawing and optimization solutions, indicate business size and type under NAICS code 334515, provide a proposed schedule with lead times, disclose any subcontracting percentages, and submit a total cost estimate. Documents are available only to SAM.gov registered DOD contractors upon request from Contracting Officer Valerie Evans (valerie.evans.1@us.af.mil) or Contract Specialist Jonathon VanBrunt (jonathon.vanbrunt@us.af.mil).

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to the RFI. No determination as to the viability of this potential requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort.

A. BACKGROUND

Building B210 requires engineering support to update its current documentation, optimize space, and standardize various operational processes. The building houses several major organizations, and a coordinated effort is needed to ensure the layout meets current standards and stakeholder needs. The selectee will work closely with the WR-ALC/EN Point of Contact to achieve the outlined objectives.

B. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

The Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) will benefit from this effort by optimizing the workspace in Building B210, leading to improved efficiency, functionality, and compliance with Air Force space allocation standards (AFMAN 32-1084). This will support the missions of the major stakeholders, including WR-ALC, Air Force Sustainment Center/Software (AFSC/SW), and 402 Software Engineering Group (SWEG), by providing a more organized and effective work environment.

To support this mission need, WR-ALC is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential facility solutions capable of accommodating all stakeholders and fostering seamless collaboration between WR-ALC, AFSC/SW and 402 SWEG within Building 210. This RFI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract.

C. SCOPE OF INTEREST

This RFI describes the services required to provide engineering support to optimize and standardize Building B210. These services include updating existing documentation, optimizing space allocation, and implementing standardized processes to improve efficiency and functionality. The primary goals are to:

• Accurately document the current layout of B210 and develop an updated AutoCAD model.

• Provide a space optimization proposal that prioritizes compliance with current civil engineering (CE) space allocation standards while co-locating staff by organization.

Posted: 17 MAR 2026 Responses Due: 16 APR 2026

• Space optimization plan to include new furniture layout, break room and break areas, printer stations, print shops, conference room, lobby and waiting areas.

• Develop a plan for swing space to accommodate future renovations based on the proposed optimized plan.

• Implement a standardized conference room naming and reservation system.

• Standardize directory markings and naming conventions throughout B210.

Respondents are requested to provide the following information:

• Facility Description:

• Physical address of the facility.

• Total square footage.

• Current configuration and floor plans.

• Brief description of the facility's features (e.g., number of offices, conference rooms, common areas, etc.).
