SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

W15QKN-20-5216

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and shall not be misconstrued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does it constitute a commitment to the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey is conducting market research to identify potential sources of providing Construction – Demolition and Installation of Emergency Lighting, in support of the 99th Readiness Division, Department of Public Works (DPW) in Big Bend, WV (WV016). The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and transportation to accomplish the following work which consists of but is not limited to: Removing and replacing all inoperable emergency lighting units and emergency exit signs with new LED lighting fixtures. System must function as such: upon loss of normal power, system automatically transfers to emergency mode without interruption of connected loads. Internal batteries provide a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency power at this time. Upon normal power being restored, system switches back to normal power mode and fully charges batteries within UL-approved time period.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) associated with this requirement is 238210 "Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors" The corresponding size standard to this NAICS code is $16.5M.

The estimated magnitude of this projected is below $25,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204(b).

Responses should address the following items:

(1) Address any concerns or unclear information within the draft SOW and/or Drawings.

(2) Provide a capability statement for the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.

(3) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirements?

(4) Does your organization plan to utilize subcontracting or teaming arrangements in order to perform the tasks of this requirement? If so, what percentage of the work do you anticipate performing?

(5) Provide your organizations name, address, email address, Website address, phone number and a point of contact to reach.

(6) Provide a statement including current small/large business including socioeconomic status (8a, SDB, HubZone, etc.) under NAICS Code 238210 and company profile to (office location(s), CAGE Code, DUNs number, etc.).
