About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Granville Health System regarding the replacement of a Deaerator (DA) tank system at its Central Energy Plant. The RFI seeks qualified mechanical contractors, boiler system specialists, and engineering firms to provide information and recommendations for the DA tank replacement project. The scope includes evaluation and replacement of the existing DA tank, potential feedwater pump replacement, associated piping, valves, controls, electrical and control system upgrades, structural support considerations, and system commissioning to integrate with two existing main boilers serving the hospital campus. Site visits are targeted for completion by May 1, 2026, with responses requested by May 8, 2026. Interested vendors should contact Jonathan Pernell, Facilities Director, at jpernell@granvillemedical.com or 919-691-0708, or Zeb Barnette, Project Manager, at zbarnette@granvillemedical.com or 336-504-0068 to coordinate on-site assessments.

Respondents must provide budgetary pricing structured to support immediate replacement, including rough order-of-magnitude costs for engineering and design fees, DA tank equipment, pumps, controls and accessories, installation labor, piping and mechanical modifications, electrical and controls integration, temporary system provisions, and commissioning and startup services. Submissions should include company information and primary contacts, relevant healthcare boiler plant and DA tank system experience, credentials and mechanical/engineering capabilities, recommended system approach with technical literature, equipment lead times and mobilization schedules, installation and phasing plans, maintenance and service offerings, preferred site visit dates, and detailed budgetary pricing. This RFI is for planning and information gathering purposes only, and no award will be made solely from this request.
