This capability will ensure safe and stable flight for mission equipment during freefall operations.
3. CAPABILITY
Air Force Special Warfare units require a standardized airdrop method to deliver personnel and sensitive equipment over land and water environments.
Key Performance Parameters (KPPs)
1.1 KPP: CRIB will be designed to airdrop any payload including a complete inflatable watercraft, including engine, fuel, and inflation system enclosed in one delivery.
1.2 KPP: CRIB will be deployed in multiple air delivery configurations, such as tethered tandem, conventional, or guided parachute systems.
1.3 KPP: CRIB system will be water & dust tight.
1.4 KPP: CRIB system includes customizable wheeled frame.
1.5 KPP: CRIB will be positively buoyant with full load.
Key System Attributes (KSAs)
2.1 KSA: Modular (replaceable parts, strapping system, main body, base cap, wheels).
2.2 KSA: CRIB System includes capable of delivering 550lbs payload up to 1000lbs.
2.3 KSA: CRIB System will be a robust containment system made of protective properties to ensure safe deployment of military equipment.
2.4 KSA: CRIB Components Material will be resistant to the deteriorating effects of sea water.
2.5 KSA: CRIB Components Material will be Chemical (Gasoline) Resistant.
2.6 KSA: CRIB Components Material will be Flame resistant.
2.7 KSA: CRIB Components Material will be impact and puncture resistant.
2.8 KSA: CRIB will be rated for 20 live drops to 40 live drops.
2.9 KSA: CRIB main components will be color configurable.
2.10 KSA: CRIB Strapping system rated at 10-1 safety factor for load rating.
2.11 KSA: CRIB should be able to be de-rigged in open water.
2.12 KSA: CRIB should be able to be employed w/ current Military Tandem Tethered Bundle systems.
2.13 KSA: CRIB should be able to be employed w/ current cargo parachute systems.
2.14 KSA: CRIB should be able to be employed w/ current aerial insertion platforms.
2.15 KSA: CRIB should allow for scaled, measured weights to be added to stabilize flight.
2.16 KSA: CRIB will have multi-drop configurable harness system.
DoD Customer history What systems have been sold to Department of Defense Customers? Do you have any active contracts for purchase of these systems within DoD?
