About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) cover page issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center seeking information from contractors regarding their capability to provide implementation and monitoring services for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Self-Inspection and Incident Management programs. The RFI explicitly states this is information-gathering only, with no obligation for the Government to acquire services, no authorization of funds, and no entitlement to payment for vendor response costs. Responses are limited to 10 pages excluding PWS feedback and should be directed to Michael Gruen (michael.gruen@va.gov) and Debra Clayton (debra.clayton2@va.gov).
Vendors must address the following requirements in their capability statements: confirmation that the draft PWS provides sufficient technical detail for their solution; identification of applicable contract vehicles and company business size status under NAICS 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services); confirmation of 50% performance by small businesses if applicable, per FAR 52.219-6 and 52.219-14; proposed labor categories with descriptions and estimated annual hours; and past performance experience specifically in reviewing VA IT system inventories and identifying systems requiring inclusion in CUI reporting requirements, including the Information Technology Systems Impacted by CUI Report and Plan for Electronic Markings Solutions Report. The RFI does not provide response deadlines or award dates. No contract vehicle is specified in this preliminary phase.
