About this file

This document is an RFI Clarification from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) regarding their Digital Signage Content Management System request for information (RFI) 147-19. The purpose of the RFI was to gather industry information to inform and scope the next steps in the process for a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP). As a state agency, the MBTA requires review and approval of the funding for a project of this scale prior to releasing an RFP, so the timeline for next steps is currently unknown. The MBTA notes that any updates to this RFI and/or future RFP solicitation will be posted via COMMBUYS, the Massachusetts state procurement website.

The document does not provide additional details on the specific products or services requested, quantities, response dates, award information, or contract terms. It also does not mention pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other financial details.

SUBJECT: RFI 147-19

MBTA Digital Signage Content Management Solutions

Clarification A

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for responding to the MBTA’s Digital Signage Content Management System request for information (RFI). The purpose of the RFI was to gather industry information in order to inform and scope the next steps in the process.

As a state agency, funding for a project of scale requires review and approval prior to releasing a

Request for Proposal (RFP). This means our timeline is not currently known for specific next steps.

As the team continues their review of Bidder responses to the RFI, requests for clarification may be posed to Bidders.

Any updates to this RFI and/or future RFP solicitation will be posted via COMMBUYS.

Thank you for your continued participation in this RFI process and interest in partnering with

MBTA.

Sincerely, Rob Weiner

Office of Procurement and Logistics
