About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Moody Air Force Base (MAFB), Georgia, to conduct market research on broadband internet and Wi-Fi services for on-base dormitory facilities. The RFI Number is A061249, issued on 10 April 2026, with responses due by 23 April 2026 at 4:00 PM ET. The primary point of contact is Ashley Castillo-Flynn (ashley.castillo_flynn@us.af.mil, 229-257-4717), with secondary contact Aden Luna (aden.luna@us.af.mil, 229-257-1349).
MAFB seeks qualified vendors capable of providing reliable, high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi services covering 16 dormitory buildings, 800+ individual residential units, and 20 common area rooms. The minimum technical requirements specify 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload per residential unit, compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) broadband benchmarks, and compatibility with existing government content-filtering and network security policies. Respondents must provide detailed information addressing company background and relevant experience with similar multi-dwelling unit (MDU) or campus-wide deployments in government or military installations; site analysis and infrastructure assessment, including proposed installation paths and existing infrastructure that could be leveraged; technical solutions with comparative analysis of individual in-room versus shared access point models; tiered upgrade and billing models for speeds up to 1 Gbps; and non-binding Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing for installation/setup costs, monthly recurring costs, and individual speed tier pricing. Responses should be limited to 10-15 pages in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format and submitted electronically. The RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or create any binding contract obligation. Responses will inform the final requirement definition and acquisition strategy, which may include a potential small business set-aside.
