About this file
This document contains responses to requests for information (RFIs) regarding a renovation project at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility. The project involves renovating halls and walls in the basement and first floor, and will be conducted in 21 phases over weekends from 5pm Fridays to 5am Mondays. The RFI responses provide clarification that repairs must match existing finishes, temporary barriers and card readers must be installed and removed for each phase, the contractor is responsible for secure storage of removed materials, camera removal and reinstallation must be completed each weekend, and utility shutdowns require advance approval. Coordination will be needed for deliveries, waste removal, and other logistics during normal business hours. The scope specifies replacement of all acoustic ceiling tiles to avoid a checkerboard appearance from mixing new and existing tiles.
