About this file

This document contains a questionnaire for entities interested in applying for slip-on tankers to increase wildland firefighting capacity through the National Fire Plan-Wildland Urban Interface Community Fire Assistance federal grant program. The questionnaire collects applicant information including contact details, population served, wildfire risk rating, vehicle specifications, and number of slip-on tankers requested through 2030. It also includes templates for listing additional applicant locations. The Department of the Interior is soliciting this information through Request For Information D23RFI0001 to inform the development of the first Notice of Funding Opportunity under which consolidated applications will be accepted for slip-on tankers with a maximum grant amount of $2 million to prioritize applicants demonstrating greatest need.
