Gaylords are supplied by the incumbent contractor for e-waste collection at this location. Location 2 has a 30 cubic yard open top container for a contractor project, and receives twice monthly recycling collection every other Thursday. Location 3 uses a 30 cubic yard compactor for solid waste collected weekly on Wednesdays, and a 20 cubic yard roll off container for municipal solid waste that is called on an as needed basis. Text version

RFI Response: Location 1: AJC / Location 2: Stokes/ Location 3: Metz.

Is there a limit on subcontracting that is applicable to the prime contractor under this contract? None

Location 2: is there a reason the location is using a 30cyd open top as opposed to a compactor for their solid waste?

Location 2 (Stokes) has a project going on - the 30cyd open top container is for a contractor.

Location 1: can you provide a size for the Messe Carts (1cyd, 2cyd)? Location 1 (AJC): Meeses are One Cubic Yard

Concerning the Messe Carts at Location 1, the Gaylords and 96 gallon autos at Location 2 and the 96 gallon autos at Location 3, are these supplied by the contractor or owned by the Government? Are they swapped at each pick up or emptied and stay on site?

Location 1 (AJC): Gaylords are provided by the current contractor for e-waste and they are swapped out during pick up. Regular recycling is picked up from government owned meeses.

Can you provide historical data for recycling at Location 2 in terms of average service schedule (weekly, monthly, twice monthly, etc)? Location 2 (Stokes) - Twice a month; every other Thursday

Typically service for a compactor or open top is completed within 24 hours of request; is the 3 hour window specified necessary and reuested often?

Location 1 (AJC): I have never had the need to request a 3 hour window (Stokes) (Metz) This has not been requested at this location ever

Are employees not entering the building, as would be the case in this contract for those servicing outside dumpsters etc, required to be approved through the GSA background check?

No clearances are required if you are not entering the building, the owners are required to do so.

The equipment and schedule for Location 3 varies between pages 12 and 52. Can you verify the containers are as stated on page 52, to include a 30cyd compactor for solid waste and a 20cyd roll off for MSW? Is the schedule for the compactor weekly on Wednesday and is the roll off on-call? Biweekly for Trash - Monthly for Recycling

Can you provide historical data on how often the 20cyd open top for MSW is required or hauled? Is it called when necessary or does it remain at the location and is called for service when full? Which location?

Is the use of meese carts and 96 gallon autos strictly only for recycling purposes? Location 1 (AJC): Yes, meeses are strictly for recycling.

Are you looking to have ALL 2 cubic yard dumpsters be front-load? Or actually rear-loads? Location 2/3 (Stokes Metz) - The same as we currently use Front-loads are more commonly used.

What are your plans for the gaylords? Storage? Not sure I understand the question?

When might you have availability for us to attend a site visit? See Amendment 0001
