About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) document is issued by Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) in Georgia to solicit vendor input regarding English Language Arts instructional resources for grades 6-12. The District seeks to identify products and services that align with course standards, maintain high quality in factual content and presentation, and are developmentally appropriate for the target student population. The RFI is designed to inform the District's procurement strategy and vendor selection process by gathering information about available solutions in the market. Specific details regarding response deadlines, bidders' conferences, site visits, and formal award timelines are not detailed in this RFI document, as the primary purpose is information gathering rather than soliciting formal bids at this stage.
The RFI does not establish pricing terms, set-asides, or contract award amounts at this stage, as it precedes formal procurement. There are no incumbent vendors identified, funding amounts specified, or renewal options outlined in this information request. The document serves as a preliminary market research tool to assess vendor capabilities and product availability before the District develops detailed specifications and issues a formal solicitation for the purchase or adoption of instructional materials.
