About this file
This Statement of Work Addendum outlines optional less lethal pressurized air launchers and projectiles for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The addendum details specifications for two optional launcher types and their associated projectiles, though these items are not required for contract award.
The first optional launcher must have a 10-inch removable ported barrel, operate in temperatures from -30°F to 150°F, be fully mechanical with no electronic controls, and include specific sight and rail requirements. It must be .68 caliber, semi-automatic, and capable of launching both round and spin stabilized projectiles. The second optional launcher must be a pistol design that fits in a holster, operates with 12ga CO2 cartridges, and shares similar mechanical and caliber requirements. The projectile specifications include a weight of 3 grams, 5% MAXSAICINPAVA powder formula with 2.5-gram payload, and minimum 5-year shelf life, available in both round and spin stabilized configurations.
