About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the City of Atlanta Department of Procurement on behalf of the Department of Atlanta Information Management (DAIM) for Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) services. The Addendum includes responses to 70 questions submitted by potential proponents/bidders, extends the bid due date to April 22, 2024, and revises Section 1.1 of the Instructions to Respondents. The City is seeking information statements from suppliers capable of providing enterprise managed security services, including the management of Palo Alto firewalls and the provision of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. The City has over 10,000 employees with endpoint systems and expects the selected MSSP vendor to provide 24/7 support.

The Addendum provides clarification on several aspects of the RFI, including the City's compliance requirements, the existing security infrastructure, and the roles and responsibilities of the MSSP vendor. The City will procure the hardware, software, and licenses, with the exception of the SIEM, which the MSSP vendor is expected to provide. The City is seeking a single vendor to provide the MSSP services and has indicated a preference for U.S.-based solutions.
