About this file

This is a budget proposal guidance document for the Oregon Health Authority's (OHA) Culturally Specific Small Grants program, administered through OregonBuys under Bid #S-44300-00017773. The grant program seeks proposals for culturally specific suicide prevention programming and services targeting youth in Communities of Focus throughout Oregon. The budget period extends through June 30, 2027. Proposers must submit one detailed budget proposal and one budget narrative electronically through OregonBuys as separate files, with a recommended combined length of four pages, though proposals will not be rejected for exceeding this length.

The budget proposal must include separate line items for personnel, travel, supplies, other costs, overhead, and administrative costs. All fully loaded personnel costs require identification of staff names, titles, and individual salary/wage listings. Allowable expense categories include personnel expenses, travel expenses, supplies, other expenses, indirect costs, and administrative expenses, with proposers instructed to add rows as needed to fully describe costs within each section. The budget form template provided establishes summaries for each expense category with a total proposed price line, structured to organize all identifiable costs associated with the described grant activities.
