The bid is scheduled to be received until 1:30 p.m. on October 17, 2025, with bids accepted via email, fax, or hand delivery to the Purchasing Manager at 411 West Clay Street. The contract will cover a period of one year from the date of award, with deliveries to be made in lots of approximately 5,000 gallons to the treatment plant located at 300 Plant Road in Ukiah, California.
The bid includes a local vendor preference provision, offering a 5% allowance (up to $2,500) for local vendors meeting specific criteria, such as conducting business in Mendocino County and holding a valid local business license. The pricing will be evaluated on a lowest overall bid basis, with all prices to be quoted freight off-loaded at designated city locations and excluding state and local sales taxes. Vendors must possess a current City of Ukiah business license and comply with insurance requirements, including procuring and maintaining insurance against potential claims for injuries or property damage. Payment terms are set at Net 30, and invoices for Water Treatment Plant deliveries are noted as non-taxable.
