RFB-IS-26201063 Radiation Detectors.pdf

This is a Request for Bid (RFB) document issued by the California Department of General Services for the procurement of radiation detectors (Contract Nos. 26-0470/472). The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to supply radiation detection equipment to support state agency operations. The RFB specifies technical requirements and performance standards for the detectors, with quantities and specifications detailed throughout the document. Interested bidders were required to submit responses by the stated deadline, with evaluation and award decisions to follow upon receipt and review of all compliant submissions. The contract will establish pricing and terms for an initial period with potential renewal options to be exercised at the state's discretion, allowing for extended supply relationships if performance meets expectations.

Pricing for the radiation detectors will be established on a unit cost basis as submitted by bidders in response to the specifications outlined in the RFB. The procurement may include set-aside provisions for small businesses or other eligible categories as required by California law. The document specifies funding sources and any applicable cost restrictions or requirements. Bidders must demonstrate technical capability, financial stability, and compliance with all applicable regulatory standards governing radiation detection equipment. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the best value to the state, considering both price and technical merit in accordance with the evaluation criteria detailed in the solicitation.
