RFB-225-17 Cosmetology Supplies.xlsx

This is a Cosmetology Supplies and Kit Items bid document (RFB-225-17) for OCM BOCES, a New York state educational consortium, soliciting comprehensive cosmetology and beauty supply procurement. The bid covers an extensive range of professional beauty supplies including aprons, brushes, combs, hair care products, cosmetics, tools, manikins, towels, wax products, and related equipment. The bid is scheduled to be opened on August 13, 2024, with a contract period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Vendors are required to list quantities per box/case for each item they are bidding on, with estimated quantities varying widely across the 1,100 line items - ranging from 1 to 60 units per item category.

The bid document provides a detailed catalog-like listing of products from multiple manufacturers such as Affinage, Matrix, Moroccanoil, Olivia Garden, and others, covering categories like hair color, tools, styling products, manicure/pedicure supplies, and educational kits. Each item includes specifications for unit of measure, estimated quantities, and space for vendors to indicate their proposed pricing, manufacturer details, and any comments or exceptions. The comprehensive nature of the bid suggests it is designed to establish a comprehensive supply contract for cosmetology educational programs, allowing schools and training institutions to purchase a wide range of professional-grade beauty supplies through a single, competitively bid contract.
