About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file from Industry Day 4 for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) Operation, Maintenance, and Modernization contract opportunity. The Q&A session covers critical details about the facility's equipment, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational requirements for the potential incoming contractor. Key topics include government-owned property transfer, facility compliance, vehicle usage, IT/OT network configurations, security clearance expectations, and the requirement for the contractor to potentially perform classified programs.

The document reveals that the upcoming contract will involve managing a complex manufacturing facility with separate IT and OT networks, various buildings and equipment, and specific compliance requirements. The government will provide a Valuable Technical Library (VTL) with detailed information about assets, networks, and facility specifics. Potential contractors must have a Secret Facility Clearance, be prepared to maintain government-owned equipment, and potentially support classified programs. The contract competition is limited to companies within the U.S., its outlying areas, and Canada, with an industry day planned for the week of May 19, 2025, involving facility tours and one-on-one sessions.
