About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Request for Application (RFA) #15-6414 issued by the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development's Healthcare Workforce Development Division regarding the Evaluation of Changing and Emerging Needs of Public Mental/Behavioral Workforce. The document clarifies research methodology requirements for applicants, specifically addressing questions about data analysis approaches for evaluating the public mental/behavioral health workforce needs.
The Q&A document confirms that there is no specific existing dataset that must be used for secondary analysis, and applicants are responsible for gathering all relevant reports, literature, and data from government and non-government sources. Additionally, while secondary data analysis, key informant interviews, and focus groups are required minimum research methods, applicants are permitted to propose additional methodologies including survey methods and quantitative data collection as deemed appropriate for the evaluation.
