About this file
This document is a Sole Source (Including Brand Name) Justification for the simplified acquisition of a commercial item, specifically an RF shielded tent. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at Edwards AFB has a requirement for a portable and compact RF shielded tent to support radio frequency device testing. The justification states that Faraday Defense Corporation is the only vendor capable of meeting the technical requirements of -85 to -90 dB attenuation, double magnetic door, heavy-duty vinyl floor, and sufficient interior space. Market research was conducted, but other vendors did not satisfy the requirements as effectively. AFTC intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Faraday Defense Corporation under the simplified acquisition procedures, with no solicitation documents provided. Vendors believing they can meet the requirements are invited to submit a technical package with evidence of their capabilities.

Therefore, without having this, we will have to outsource to test our flight test equipments in an RF environment chamber.
III. Description of supplies/services required to meet agency needs.
The RF shielded Tent must be portable and compact that will easy to setup.
The shield effectiveness requirements must be between -85dB to -90dB attenuation.
