Only authorized vendors of Woodward, Inc. may provide the training and services, and offerors must submit proof of authorized source status, such as a valid Letter of Authorization from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, prior to contract award.

STATEMENT OF WORK

EMC Brandon W. Trammell, (206)-820-3006 Detailed Description of work and/or items needed:

1) Conduct a 3-day training course combining classroom instruction and practical instruction/application for four (4) U.S. Coast Guard Advanced Ship System, Instruction and Support Team (ASSIST) personnel covering Woodward’s EasYgenXT 3400/3500 Generator controls and LS-5/LS-612XT Circuit Breaker controls.

2) Training to provide an in-depth introduction to generator controls and power system management using the EasYgenXT and LS-612XT control system platform covering EasYgenXT and LS-612XT applications, ranging from simple stand-by operations to multiple generators in complex distribution systems, to include instruction on applying Woodward LS-5 / LS-6XT circuit breaker controllers in conjunction with the EasYgenXT-3400/3500 controls.

3) Classroom lectures to be conducted utilizing an EasYgenXT controller and an LS-5/LS-6XT controller, providing each attendee with their own laptop for use with the Woodward Toolkit application installed.

4) Upon successful completion of the course, students must be able to:

a) Know the capabilities of the different EasYgen XT models, as well as complementary peripheral devices and third-part modules, and be able to specify the correct devices for a given application.

b) Navigate the menu structure and configure the EasYgenXT and LS-5/6 for a variety of applications.

c) Use the LogicsManager and AnalogManager functions to broaden the logical programming capabilities of the EasYgenXT-3000 series.
