About this file
This document is a revised sole source posting from the Washington State Patrol regarding the anticipated award of a sole source contract to NorthPoint Aviation (dba D.V. Aviation) to provide one Soloy Universal Sensor Mount for a Cessna aircraft for the Washington State Patrol Aviation Section. The Washington State Patrol anticipates purchasing a second Soloy Universal Sensor Mount in 2025 when it receives two Cessna 206 airplanes, each equipped with a Star Safire FLIR 380 HDc Camera. The Soloy Universal Sensor camera mount is the only FAA-approved mount manufactured for the Star Safire 380 HDc camera. The contract will be issued on or about December 17, 2024 for 12 months, with an estimated total value of $52,248. Other vendors have until December 3, 2024 to submit capability statements detailing their ability to meet the state's requirements.
The sole source award is due to the Soloy Universal Sensor Mount being the only approved mount for the Star Safire 380 HDc camera system. The Washington State Patrol will make the sole source award in the absence of other qualified sources.
