About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) document issued by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for moving services in Northampton. The RFQ seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive relocation services for agency operations or facilities. The scope of work includes standard moving services such as packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery of furniture, equipment, and materials. Specific item quantities and detailed logistics requirements are outlined within the document to enable accurate quoting. Interested vendors were required to submit quotes by the specified deadline to be considered for award. The contract term and any renewal or extension options are contingent upon the successful completion of the initial move and mutual agreement between DDS and the selected vendor.

Pricing for the moving services is to be submitted on a competitive basis, with vendors responsible for providing detailed cost breakdowns for labor, equipment, transportation, and any additional services required. The RFQ does not indicate set-asides for small or disadvantaged businesses, though vendors should verify current Massachusetts procurement regulations. No incumbent vendor information is referenced in the document. Funding for this project is sourced through the Department of Developmental Services' operational budget. Vendors should confirm their capacity to meet DDS's specific timeline and logistical requirements prior to submitting their quotes.
