About this file

This document is a Response to Offeror Questions for RFP #24RFP9738 issued by the State of South Dakota Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services & Service to the Blind & Visually Impaired. The RFP is seeking a vendor with expertise in providing special customized services for iOS devices, including iPads and iPhones, for the Telecommunication Equipment Distribution (TED) program and the Telecommunication Adaptive Device (TAD) program. The RFP does not require a multi-purpose shipping box, heavy-duty protective case, or asset tagging, but the state indicates these features have been beneficial in the past and would be preferred practices moving forward. The state is also interested in hearing more about new technology that facilitates secure WiFi access for consumers. While annual in-person training is not a requirement, the state sees it as a potential benefit and would prefer this practice continue.

The RFP outlines the process for submitting inquiries, which must be emailed to the specified contact by the due date. The state will respond to inquiries via email and post them on the state's e-procurement system. Offerors are advised that they may not rely on any other statements, written or oral, that alter the RFP specifications or terms. The state will notify offerors of any modifications to the RFP using the same method.
