About this file
This is a community listening session flyer issued by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) in preparation for a Request for Response (RFR) to procure Peer Respite services. The listening session is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and will be conducted as an online forum. The session is designed to gather input from current providers of Respite and Peer Respite services, though other interested parties are also invited to attend. The formal RFR is anticipated to be posted in November 2026. This listening session serves as a preliminary engagement mechanism to inform the upcoming procurement process and allow stakeholders to provide feedback prior to the official request for proposals.
The flyer provides advance notice and opportunity for community participation in the procurement planning stages. No specific pricing terms, contract amounts, award dates, or contract term information is detailed in this document, as it functions solely as an announcement of the listening session rather than a complete procurement notice. The document emphasizes inclusivity by welcoming both current service providers and other interested parties to participate in the online discussion.
