The Inverters shall have an AC rating of 60KW and the PV Array shall have minimum DC rating of 70.2KW. The minimum ratio of AC rating to DC Rating shall be 1.0 : 1.17. The system shall produce a minimum of 95,500 kWh’s annually (First Year). The KYARNG determined this information using NREL’s PV WATTS Calculator, see attachment.

The PV system shall have inverter(s) with Ethernet connected gateways capable of BACnet communication protocols over IP for integration to existing building automation systems as well as provide a web-based stand-alone front end. The stand-alone, secured, web-based front end shall be capable of continuous monitoring, measuring and recording individual inverter’s production as well as total photovoltaic system production, and building electric consumption giving immediate feedback. The stand-alone web based front end shall have built in memory capacity capable of recording a minimum of 25 years of data. The contractor will be responsible for setup and commissioning of the stand-alone front end.

The Contractor is responsible for installing green CAT5e communication cable from the web-based stand-alone front end to the IT server at the facility.
