About this file

This is a Requirements/Specification Document for WR4 On-Wafer Probes issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Communications Technology Laboratory, RF Technology Division, High Frequency Electronics Group 672.03. The procurement seeks four (4) WR4 Waveguide Probes to support load-pull measurements at 220 GHz. Each probe must operate from 170 to 260 GHz with a 50 micrometer GSG tip configuration, integrate a bias tee, and exclude micro-coax on the probe tips transition. The probe-tip return loss specification requires performance less than -4 dB maximum across frequencies between 100 MHz to 100 GHz.

Vendors must possess an active Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and a Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) with active registration on SAM.gov at the time of award. Delivery is required to NIST-Boulder at 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305, with acceptance not expected to exceed 7 business days. The document specifies that planning considerations, electronic media requirements, installation services, facility/utility considerations, training, calibration, maintenance, government-furnished materials, and travel are not applicable (N/A). Base manufacturer warranty is acceptable. No specific delivery date, response deadline, or pricing information is provided in this specification document.
