Delivery schedules will be strictly enforced. Failure to deliver within the established time frames will be considered as non-conformance under the terms of the contract and the contract will be cancelled.
Items must meet specifications as indicated. Failure to comply with specifications will be considered as non-conformance under the terms of the contract and the contract will be cancelled. All items will be closely inspected. Items may require thawing and cooking to determine specification compliance. Items which are conditionally received and found to be unacceptable must be picked up at the vendor's expense within two weeks of notification of non-compliance. If refused product is not picked up within two weeks it will be disposed. All deliveries must be palletized.
All Items/Milk must be delivered between 34 degrees F and 40 degrees F.
Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedule or specifications will be removed indefinitely from future award.
SCHEDULE:
MILK MUST BE DELIVERED WEEKLY, EXCLUDING FEDERAL HOLIDAYS, FOR A 13-WEEK PERFORMANCE PERIOD OF January 2, 2024 THROUGH March 29, 2024.
WEEKLY ½ PINT MILK DELIVERY QUANTITES ARE ESTIMATED AT 30,000 TO 45,000 EACH
REGULAR NOTICE/SCHEDULING FOR DELIVERIES WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF NECESSARY DELIVERY DAYS AND NECESSARY QUANTITIES PER DELIVERY METHOD OF DELIVERY: THE TRAILER/DELIVERY VEHICLE DECK MUST BE SUITABLE TO OFFLOAD ONTO A 4 FOOT ELEVATED UNLOADING DOCK.
