About this file
This is a Requirements and Specifications document for the State of Iowa detailing procurement specifications for a Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometer Triple Quad System. The document specifies that bidders must provide a complete system inclusive of columns, computer, installation, power supply, software package, and a five-year maintenance agreement. The instrumentation and software must be compatible with Iowa DCI Labs' current validated methods, requiring only partial validation rather than full validation or new standard operating procedures to bring the system online.
The system specifications include mandatory technical features: StepWave ion transfer optics, two high resolution and high stability quadrupole analyzers, a T-Wave collision cell for MS/MS performance, a low noise off-axis long life photomultiplier detector, software with a HUB design and connected apps for user experience consistency, a Z-spray ion source, rapid ionization mode switching capability for polarity switching, an atmospheric pressure ionization source, and MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces technology. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, funding amounts, response dates, or contract award dates are provided in this specifications document.
